Our Story

In the heart of Moss End Garden Village in Bracknell, Il Cortile Deli was born in 2019, taking its name from its location in the Courtyard area.

It began its journey during the challenging times of Covid, offering a selection of authentic Italian products. Despite the founders’ efforts, by 2022, due to poor decisions and unreliable staff, the deli was on the brink of closing its doors forever.

But every success story has its turning point.

When all seemed lost, Giorgio and Federica, close friends of the original owners, decided to step in and save the dream. With passion, determination, and a clear vision for the future, they took charge and began transforming the deli into something truly special.
 

In 2023, Giorgio and Federica didn’t just rescue Cortile—they gave it new life. Cortile Deli & Cafe became much more than just a store selling Italian products. Today, it’s a place where people come to enjoy breakfast, lunch, coffee, and joyful moments. It’s a place where every customer is welcomed as part of a big family—a family that Giorgio and Federica have lovingly built over the years.
